The holidays are upon us. Regardless of how thanksgiving day came into fruition in the US (the real story is heartbreaking)… we have changed it’s perspective and made it FAMILY Day where family get together. We’ve extended this day to Friday and Saturday to spend more time with more family.
This year I’m spending Thursday with my sisters. Something we want to keep alive in memory of our father and mother.
My children are spending it with their in-laws and will be spending it with us on Friday. The menfolk want to go out and do black friday shopping for menfolk stuff and the girls want to do girl stuff shopping.
Us girls were talking about sales at some stores that give us 20% of entire purchase, however, the fine print says “excluding items already on sale”. Hmmm… that sucks. I don’t like that practice but I’m going to check if the new DMC floss colors are in and some big count fabric (8 ct or 10 ct) for our “little girl” classes.
